Eilean Donan Castle At Dusk, Loch Duich
Sitting at the edge of Loch Duich, Eilean Donan Castle in the Highlands of Scotland was destroyed in 1715. Just over 200 years later it was rebuilt to within 98% accuracy of the original castle, supposedly thanks to drawings made by the clerk of works, Farquhar Macrae, who had visions of the restored castle in a dream.
