Photo Gallery: Assisi

Posted on September 3rd, by Peter Parkorr in Italy, Picture Perfect. 2 comments
A set of photographs from beautiful Assisi, Italy. With perfect blue skies all day long, I walked between Santa Maria degli Angeli and the famous town of Assisi, perched on a hill a couple of kilometres away. I hope you enjoy my photos of Assisi and Santa Maria. A list of great places to see before you die, from me, because these are all places I’ve seen and things I’ve done! While progress on TravelUnmasked is slow and steady, my whereabouts in the world has been anything but. In the last few months (and years) I have travelled a lot, and blogged very little. But this does mean that I have hundreds of great photo’s and loads of great stories from the mix of places I’ve been.…

A Windy Experience – Climbing Mount Etna

Posted on June 26th, by Peter Parkorr in Picture Perfect, Sicily. 1 Comment
In late April this year, I took a day trip to Mount Etna. It was kindly gifted to me by the owners of Ostello Del Plebiscito in Catania, as i’d been working for them the previous couple of months in exchange for a bed. The trip was with EtnaExperience who are the guide group of choice for most visitors to the mountain.…
