A Taste Of Italy – Handmade Italian Pasta and Fresh Pizza Video

Posted on July 22nd, by Peter Parkorr in Italy, Video Adventures. 4 comments
While I was in Rome at the end of May, I decided to spend the best part of 36 hours straight making a short video showing some of the great food experiences I’d been having in Italy. So here is my video of handmade Italian pasta and fresh pizza that I hope look good enough to eat. Featuring the expert pasta maker Sfoglina Luisa of Bologna making fresh pasta by hand, fellow tourists making their own pizzas on a food tour of Campo di Fiori in Rome, and some scenes from the lovely towns of Piacenza and Bobbio in Emilia Romagna.…

The Most Romantic Place I’ve Ever Been – St Andrews, Scotland

Posted on February 22nd, by Peter Parkorr in Britain, Scotland, Video Adventures. 16 comments
I’ve been to my fair share of romantic places. From wandering the cobbled streets of Paris, to hot chocolate at sunset on the top of California’s Big Sur, and drinking Champagne cocktails on the 35th floor of a quiet candle lit bar in Tokyo. Still, I’ve never really felt the location was anything more than just a backdrop to the company.…

Edinburghs Hogmanay Torchlight Procession 2012. With Vikings!

Have you ever been to a Scottish celebration of Hogmanay? They really know how to mark an occasion up there. It’s a great way to welcome in the New Year, and here’s my first video from this year’s events to show you why. Five Scottish pipe bands and 26 Up Helly Aa Vikings from the Shetlands lead over 35,000 people and 7,000 torches through the streets of Edinburgh up to Calton Hill in the Hogmanay Torchlight Procession 2012.…

Heading to Scotland for Hogmanay, Haggis, and Highland Hijinks!

With less than a fortnight of 2012 left, and only one day until the ‘end of the world’ according to the Mayan calendar, I’m getting prepared to break in the New Year in style. The ‘end of the world’ is a complete misnomer, actually being the predicted date of a new and better age for humanity (we’ll see), so I’ve got plans to see out the old year and bring in the new at Edinburghs Hogmanay celebrations.…

The Olive Branch El Chorro Promo Video

Who loves DSLR films? I do…! So I went to shoot a couple of my own at The Olive Branch El Chorro… DSLR film It’s slick and sexy, with shallow depth-of-field, soft focus, and rarely feels staged because of the way it’s shot. With lots of quality older lenses to choose from on any budget, its no surprise that there are more and more professional film-makers turning to DSLR and micro-four thirds cameras for their projects.…
