Malta – it’s a funny place. Part way between Africa and Europe, full-way between all the different cultures that have washed over it through the generations. I personally invaded Malta for a 2011-2012 Christmas getaway with family, three generations at once, shrieking children included. This was really the first of my travels calling myself a blogger, and my main aim was to learn more about photography….

…the year 2012!…
Yes, you may have heard of it, but you’ve almost certainly seen nothing of it from me. Just over a year ago I started my first blog, but I didn’t write much about travel or publish many photo’s, as I was too occupied with the act of travelling itself.
I wasn’t going to do a 2012 roundup of posts, as Travel Unmasked only got going in September last year. However when Jennifer from Jdomb’s Travels nominated me from her round-up, it seemed simple enough. With a lack of post fodder to choose from on this site, some links will take you to my original blog, Shock And Orr, wherein my life is an experiment in progress.…
